ILITE is proud to say that we participate in many outreach activities. Everything from FLL Mentorship and our Robotics Summer Camps to our FIRST Campaign.
The FIRST season was an amazing experience for all included, and the students loved it. Naturally, it was a shame that it had to end, so we came up with another idea. IROC (ILITE Robotics Off-season Competition ) – The first ever off-season event in the DC/Metropolitan area.
As a way of promoting the experience and fun that we’ve had with FIRST programs to our community, we took the liberty of hosting a FIRST LEGO League competition at our school.
With the continued success and growth of ILITE each year of ILITE we soon realized that the pool of young minds which would benefit from STEM activities was far larger than what could be supported by one team and by our schools.
